Do you have the right to confidentiality at work?

Yes. A person’s HIV status is something private. It has nothing to do with your work. You are under no legal duty to tell your employer whether you are HIV negative or positive because HIV is not contagious. Note: the Bill of right in the constitution says everyone has the right to privacy.
